I'm Sveinbjörn Geirsson, a software engineer with over a decade of experience in the payment card industry, now specializing in X-Road implementations and integrations.

At Reiknistofa Lífeyrissjóða (2023-2025), I managed the setup and maintenance of X-Road security servers, creating a secure communication layer for government services. This work was crucial for regulatory reporting to the Central Bank of Iceland, including the obligations registry for mortgage lending.

My expertise encompasses X-Road security server deployment, operational monitoring implementation, performance optimization, and service integration. I'm passionate about building reliable, secure systems where attention to detail and robust implementation are paramount.
